What Nana Yaw Amponsah did to get Asante Kotoko job ahead of George Afriyie

According to Dr. SK Boafo, the young administrator is at the right place and can make a difference with the Porcupine Warriors.

”I’m very much excited about how Nana Yaw Amponsah has risen to the top adhering to our advice. He listened to us and now people know what’s in him. I’m happy and I know he’ll be more than successful,” he told Hello FM.

”He is the CEO, so he will oversee the operations of the club in a more professional manner. He will put into action policies of the board of directors of the club,” he added.

”I will say Kotoko is the number one club in Ghana and probably number three on the continent and have more supporters than even political parties.

”So we needed somebody who understands and knows football so much.

”What is important is the brand of the club.  Nana Yaw is someone who can develop the brand of Kotoko. All put together he’ll bring the change we’re looking for.

”In terms of sponsorship, Nana Yaw has many ways of getting them and Kotoko could be the richest club in Ghana in the next six months.

”So his knowledge, ideas, vision, and understanding in the game of football will bring great changes. If you see some of us behind him you should know big things are coming.

”He is someone who listens to advice. He always takes criticism to achieve his targets. That makes him a great person and he will deliver at Kotoko.
