Thomas Partey sets ambitious objective in first interview since Arsenal move

Thomas Partey (Thomas Partey) said that Arsenal (Arsenal) intends to transfer 45 million pounds from Atletico Madrid to win the Premier League title.

After Arsenal activated the release clause in the contract to ensure Mikel Arteta provided the first choice target for the midfielder who needed to be strengthened, Partey completed the move to North London on the transfer deadline.

Arteta hopes that Atina can push Arsenal forward, but the Gunners have a good start to the season, winning four Premier League opening three games, and ranked fourth at the beginning of the season.

Arteta himself will admit that Arsenal has not yet reached the level of challenging Liverpool and Manchester City at the Premier League summit, but this is undoubtedly their long-term goal, and they hope that Patty’s signing will help them achieve this goal.

When asked if he intends to win the Premier League with Arsenal, Patui said: “This is our new goal. This is the club’s goal, and for me, I think we must return to where we belong. .”

He added: “I have seen everyone get excited, everyone is willing to win something, and all trophies follow. I think this is the goal and purpose of everyone here, as well as my goal.

“This is a difficult thing (to win a trophy), we all know it is difficult, but we are trying to do this, I think we are ready. We must go all out and try to achieve all the goals ourselves .”

This may be a signal of Artena’s progress under the leadership of Arteta, showing that Patty is very willing to accept this move. After leaving Wanda Metropolitan for the Emirates Stadium, he wants to bid farewell to the Champions League, and possibly even the latter stages of the Championship, at least one season in the European League and fight for fourth place.

His 200,000 pounds a week salary will inevitably greatly ease his concerns, but there are many other factors that convince Partey that after eight years at Atletico Madrid, it is time to change the scene. Living in London, working with Arteta and the opportunity to experience the Premier League all persuaded the 27-year-old to move to Arsenal before activating his release clause.

Patty said: “I think this is a huge challenge, I want to experience new challenges, and in a big family like Arsenal, I am willing to go all out and try my best to help this great club return to where they belong. .

“Since I was in Ghana, I have been watching the Premier League. I think most of my Ghanaian friends and most people in Ghana are watching the Premier League and La Liga.
