#Shattabration trends on social media as Shatta Wale celebrates his birthday

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr turns 37 years today.

To celebrate the Ghanaian sensation, many have taken to social media to congratulate and extend their well wishes to the “My level” hitmaker.

Twitter, which has two of its most trending subjects dedicated to Shatta Wale, has been buzzing since morning. The platform has been flooded with comments from the hashtags; #Shattabration and #LongLiveTheKing.

The rationale behind #Shattabration appears to originate from two words; Shatta Wale and Celebration. It is also not surprising Shatta Wale has been tagged as “King”.

This is because of his hit “Dancehall King” and his collaboration with International singer Beyoncé on her song “Already”.

Portions of “Already” say “Long live the king, you a king, you know it. King already, already, you know it.”
