GFA wanted to trick Palmer appointing him onto Committee to influence CAS ruling – Kojo Yankah

GFA wants to deceive Palmer, appoint him to the committee to influence the CAS ruling-Kojo Yankah

Kojo Yankah, a former Ghanaian Football Association (GFA) executive board member, said that Wilfred Osei Kwaku of the well-known Osei Palmer’s decision to reject his decision to join the GFA interim committee was the right direction.

On Wednesday, the country’s football governing body appointed Osei Palmer as a member of the three-person committee.

However, Ebo Appiah, spokesperson for Osei Kweku Palmer, said that after many consultations, the former executive committee of the total floor area refused to serve as a member of the committee.

According to Kojo Yankah, it is strange that the GFA appointed Osei Palmer as the chairman of the committee because they knew that both parties were hearing an upcoming case. He believed that the FA had been working hard to improve his mind.

“This is Palmer’s right decision to reject the position. If Palmer is not suitable to compete or hold a position in the Finals

Why should he be given a position in the FA? “, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware in the Wamputu sports program of Happy 98.9FM.

“We all know that Palmer is debating in court why he was disqualified, and if they don’t try to deceive him to influence the CAS ruling, why should he be appointed from the Football Association.”

Kojo Yankah added that Osei Palmer’s case is against GFA, not against Dr. Kofi Amoah, and will be prepared to serve on any committee of GFA after the CAS verdict.

The CAS ruling on Osei Palmer’s GFA case is scheduled to be issued on August 4.
