2021 AFCON Qualifiers: Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey starts for Ghana against Sudan

Asante Kotoko SC defender Christopher Nettey has been handed his Black Stars debut in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications.

CK Akonnor has named the right-back in his starting lineup against Sudan on Thursday.

The Black Stars play Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium.

Nettey was given a late call-up to the Black Stars after Harrison Afful and Benson Annang couldn’t turn up for the games.

The 22-year-old was a key member of the Asante Kotoko team last season in the Ghana Premier League last season.

He made 13 appearances out of 14 before the season was terminated.
