King Faisal returned to winning ways with a morale-boosting victory over Medeama SC at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
In-form forward Kwame Peprah’s 89th-minute header was enough to secure all three points for the home side.
The striker rose high to head in the winner with just additional time left to play.
King Faisal created some chances in the first half but failed to take advantage and thought they had won a penalty at the stroke of half-time but the referee waved play on.
After a first half dominated the home side, Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu rang a couple of changes, bringing on Kwasi Donsu and Bright Enchill.
Medeama began to create chances but could not find the cutting edge.
King Faisal then left it late to secure all three points after Kwame Peprah made no mistake with his header from close range.
It is back to back wins at home for the In Sha Allah boys, after their comeback victory over Chelsea on matchday 10 in Techiman.
